Alex Challans

is CEO and Co-Founder

He previously worked as an investment director within a London-based private equity firm where he focussed on the technology sector.


He is passionate about quantum technology’s potential to help solve some of the world’s more challenging problems. In his spare time he enjoys playing blues and jazz guitar.

Evan Kubes

is President and Co-Founder

Prior to this, Evan launched one of the first Law Firms and Management Agencies dedicated to esports, content creators and the technology sector. Given the global nature of the Quantum Technology space, Evan offers his clients a multi-jurisdictional approach to the industry, having obtained both a Canadian and American law degree.

 

A creative lawyer and marketer, his passion lies in assisting Quantum start-ups to strategically position themselves for success and scale.

Mark Bromwell

is deep tech due diligence lead

Mark has led successful due diligence engagements with venture capital, government bodies and private equity clients including Nordic Capital, EMK Capital, LDC, Agilitas, Mayfair Equity Partners, Phoenix, Livingbridge, Searchlight, Cathay Capital, Corsair and others.


Prior to specializing in technical due diligence, Mark held engineering, CTO and Director positions building disruptive technology products. He is a chartered engineer, an IBM-certified quantum computation engineer, and has received several engineering awards including from the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineering (IEEE) for designing microprocessor architectures.


Every deep tech due diligence engagement is different. Mark leads the process, and assembles a team of specialist engineers, scientists and entrepreneurs to meet the requirements of the due diligence according to the investment thesis and agreed scope.

Chris Coleman

is a Quantum Engineer and holds a
Ph.D. in Physics.

With a decade of experience across a wide array of topics including superconducting technologies, quantum optics, and quantum matter, he has contributed to research activities across the quantum tech landscape including in quantum sensing and applied quantum computing projects.


His focus is on investigating emergent aspects of the quantum computing ecosystem as it evolves from the NISQ to fault tolerant regime.

Robin Sie-Verbruggen

is our COO

Robin previously worked as an investment manager at Montagu, a UK-based private equity firm, where he focused on technology investments. He started his career as an investment banker at Lazard, and has a wealth of experience with cross-border investments, as well as tech-focused research projects.


He is passionate about space technology and excited about the many ways in which it can benefit humanity: from improving communication, to advancing medical research and environmental monitoring.
